About

I love watches. I love the way they look, the way they work, the stories behind them. I've had people call me a watch-a-holic. I'm constantly looking for "new" vintage watches to buy and thought I would use these pages to show the best finds of the day. But, you better act fast before I buy it out from under you!

Looking for something specific?

Here’s an unusual Pierre Cardin watch called the Espace Craterdome, according to the sales text.  I can’t find any information about this watch, other than what is given in the sales text:  1971, mechanical movement made by Jaeger LeCoultre.  I’m very curious about the shape of this brushed stainless steel case, certainly seems to match the name of “crater.” Also, it would be nice to know how big this watch is, my guess would be in 35-38mm area, but hard to be sure.  Anyway, I do know that in the 70’s Jaeger LeCoultre supplied mechanical movement to Pierre Carding for a line of “mod” watches.  This is certainly an interesting design that captures that early “Space Age” fascination of the early 1970’s.  For sale at Watchismo for $1,350.
