About

I love watches. I love the way they look, the way they work, the stories behind them. I've had people call me a watch-a-holic. I'm constantly looking for "new" vintage watches to buy and thought I would use these pages to show the best finds of the day. But, you better act fast before I buy it out from under you!

Looking for something specific?

Man, this watch looks like a 1970’s radar or early computer screen.  Must be that green color.  Anyway, posted this vintage watch because of its green dial and the unusual green bezel. I can’t really tell if the bezel is an insert or just painted on.  Hopoefully it isn’t just paint. The mechanical movement looks a bit crude by today’s standards with the two-piece bezel although the sales text tells us that the watch was made in 1968, before Seiko became the behemoth that it is currently.  Reasonably priced at $99 at Girard’s, and if I needed a green dial watch (or a Green Seiko) I might pick it up.  But other than the bezel and dial color, a pretty run-of-the-mill watch.
