What watch does Herman Cain wear? In doing the research, I noticed that very early in the campaign, Cain was photographed with a Rolex. Judging by the first picture it looks to be a gold and stainless steel Datejust. He was probably advised at some point that a Rolex was too “patrician” or “1%” as they say now, so it looks like he switched. Nowadays, like most men, he seems to wear primarily one watch, as can be seen in the fantastic picture of his hands by Getty Images, as he “waits onstage before unveiling his Opportunity Zone economic plan on October 21, 2011 in Detroit Michigan.” Clearly it is a brown leather strap, stainless steel case, and white face. My first thought was an IWC or Baume et Mercier. By the various markings at the 12, 9, and 6 o’clock hour markers and date window at 3, I am pretty sure he is wearing an older model Baume et Mercier Classima Executive. Unless Herman Cain has very small wrists (“sissy wrists” in his parlance), I’m thinking it must be the larger 42mm model. NIce choice, I think, less than $2,000 at most, although it is not made in America but a Swiss manufacture.
